Relationships

Our lives are made full and complete by the people we know and love. We would all like to imagine ourselves as automatically fulfilling the needs and expectations of our loved ones. We can imagine that our presence and involvement in their lives fulfills their needs. But in reality, most of us are likely to take situations for granted and we can use some organization to make sure we create time for the special people in our lives. Whether it is your significant other, husband or wife, children, parents, siblings, friend, coworkers or associates, we communicate our love and appreciation by the time and frequency we spend with people.

Taking the time to purchase special gifts, attend events, travel, and enjoy uninterrupted time can lead to fulfilling meaningful relationships that money can't buy. There is no multi-tasking when it comes to relationships. If you are talking on the phone while visiting someone, neither person is feeling very good about your effort. If you are multi-tasking while talking to someone on the phone, the person will feel less important. Remove all the distractions and enjoy the time with people in your life. Wherever you are, make sure you are focused on one thing or one person.

By focusing on the important people in our lives, we also gain the love and respect from them that builds confidence and success in all areas of our lives.
